Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Karl at Shelbourne Clinic for almost 10 years now, and honestly, he feels more like family than just my dentist! Every visit is met with a warm welcome and genuine care. Dr. Karl is always friendly, patient, and takes the time to do every job on my teeth with the utmost precision and the results have lasted for years. Even after I moved out of the city centre, I never considered switching dentists. In my village, you just can’t find a doctor like Dr. Karl. His dedication, professionalism, and kindness make every appointment a positive experience. I can’t recommend Shelbourne Clinic and Dr. Karl highly enough! If you’re looking for a dentist you can trust for the long term, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I had been suffering from severe toothache for the past four days. Yesterday, I called the clinic based on a friend’s recommendation and was lucky to get an appointment on the same day — This is a miracle in Ireland! :) I’m truly grateful to Dr. Mark for accepting me on such short notice and making time for me despite a busy schedule. He was very professional, explained every step clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. I’m extremely satisfied with the care I received. Fantastic experience: I am usually nervous when going to the dentist but Dr Mark Kelly and Caoimhe were nothing but welcoming and informative. I especially loved how Dr Kelly walked me through each process step by step and provided visual aids. No question was too much and I felt very looked after. They are both a credit to your team.

Fantastic experience: Karl is Probably the best dentist in Ireland. They won't overcharge you and they will take care of your teeth as if they were family. The worst thing they have is the appointment system, that is outdated and doesn't work correctly. You end up doing the by phone or email, which is not ideal. Even with that, they deserve a 5 star rating.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Shelbourne Dental Clinic for 4.5 years now, and I can't express how much the team at there changed my perspective and feeling when it comes to dental hygiene (I used to be so scared of going to the dentist). Fantastic experience: I recently went in for a check up and a clean with Dr. Carla. I'm not a fan of the dentist and can honestly say it was the best experience I've ever had in a dentist. Everyone was so lovely the minute I entered the building, so friendly and professional. Dr. Carla was so attentive and took x-rays to make sure there was nothing sinister looking, and found a cavity that was tucked away. Herself and Caoimhe the dental nurse were excellent so much so that I didn't feel a bit of pain, which I have never had in an dentists office before. Overall, a very positive experience, and have already made my next appointment to keep an eye on everything.

It was my daughter's 1st time at the dentist and Doctor Karl was so good with her and her older brother made them both feel so relaxed. Fantastic experience: I went to Mark first about 3/4 years ago for a little bit of bonding that he did perfectly, he showed me on the computer what it should look like and then it turned out exactly like that and it’s still perfect now. I’ve since had retainers and whitening trays made and he’s gentle and answers all of your questions and goes above and beyond. He has made it so easy to stop back in if needed for any adjustments and the entire staff of nurses and receptionists are all so welcoming and helpful too. Couldn’t recommend Shelbourne Dental enough!

Positive experience: Went for 15 euro PRSI exam, friendly service however they did not mention that there would be an extra charge of 50 for xray. This has always been included at my previous two clinics.

Fantastic experience: This clinic is one of the few places we visited when we first relocated to Ireland,Dublin. We were so worried when my daughter started having tooth aches. In a city where we have little knowledge of the health system, this clinic helped us not only by treating my daughter the day we called but explained in detail where we should take her next and all the HSE system and local numbers for HSE around where we were living in. Now my daughter is healthy and part of the Irish healthcare system Thanks to the lovely support of Shelboure clinic.

Fantastic experience: While studying abroad in Dublin, just before my return to Japan, one of my molars got chipped. Feeling anxious about my English skills, I visited the dental clinic with a lot of tension. However, the receptionist, dentist, and dental assistant all treated me with great care. When they found out I was Japanese, the receptionist expressed her desire to visit Japan, and the assistant even taught me some Japanese words they knew. The dentist also spoke in a cheerful and unhurried manner, allowing me to relax and receive treatment. They even displayed translations on a monitor during the procedure, and they completed the treatment in one day. Additionally, they sent me X-ray images via email to assist with treatment in Japan. Although it was saddening that my tooth got chipped, meeting these wonderful people has become a treasure in my life. Thank you so much. If you're a Japanese person in need of dental treatment in Dublin, I highly recommend this dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for over a year now. And every visit, I've been very well looked after by Dr. Karl and once by Dr. Carla. I've always had a check up and clean and most recently was able to get a wisdom teeth removed (which was pretty much a normal teeth extraction). They are very friendly, gentle and caring. Can have a great banter with the staff as well. They don't have a water tank as before in the waiting room, but you can always ask and staff will give it to you. There's also a toilet accessible for customers. Can also confirm, since the pandemic, the establishment is very safe and they do deep cleaning after each appointment is finished. Definitely recommend this dental practice

Fantastic experience: I recently had some dental and restorative/ cosmetic work carried out by Mark Kelly at Shelbourne Dental… I had avoided going to the dentist for many years due to bad past experiences but the minute I met Jennifer at reception and then Mark and his team I immediately felt at ease especially considering we are in a COVID situation , the level of care and professionalism I experienced with them was Second to none ! Fantastic experience: I've been to many dentists, but can honestly say I've never come across more professional, friendly, and kind-hearted dentists as Dr Karl, Mark and the team. Dr Karl has treated my son last week, and even though he's only 5, he couldn't wait to go and see Karl again. I'm also very anxious from having a previous bad experience with a dentist and since I've met Karl and Mark, the fear completely disappeared. I had an extraction today, and I couldn't have felt safer and looked after. The most outstanding, experienced and professional team that you can imagine!

Fantastic experience: Not to go into details with the appointment and the treatment, but most certainly, I found a fantastic dentist in the person of Dr Karl Cassidy. I am really and truly impressed, and I am not easily blown away, beyond my expectation from start to finish. Everything from response time, reply from the reception, location, clinic, approach, skills, communication style, explanation of the treatment, response to my post-procedure inquiries. Most impressed with that first time, I felt a dentist is genuinely interested in the right thing to do for me. This was a great experience and looking forward to coming back. I can’t recommend them strongly enough for everyone. We badly need dentists like Karl and Mark, very few and far between.

I’ve spent hours and hours at dentists across the world (#SoftTeeth), and Mark Kelly and his dental practice really are excellent. From digital xRays to ultrasonic cleaning to 2 (count them, TWO) screens for patients (one TV and another to show you things like your digital xRay or pictures of your teeth), I’m delighted to say that after 6 years of dental anxiety and avoidance, I’ve found my go-to dentist in Dublin. By coincidence two of them were already clients of the clinic for years and spoke very highly of the clinic. They have both done a great job to keep me informed, reassured and as comfortable as one can be at a trip to the dentist. They are the type of clinic that really want the best possible outcome for each patient and don't try to push any unnecessary work.
