However, The service was previously based on seeing the dentist, it is now more of a business that provides a dental service, in other words not quite the same as it used to be.

Fantastic experience: As a very nervous dental patient, I am easily put off going to the dentist until I have a problem, never mind going as a routine. Having recently had a dental issue I attended Swords Dental Care. Both Orla and Christine explained why, how and what was involved in the procedure of each visit, leaving me with no dark spaces where my thoughts could run to. They both worked with patience, and at my pace. I now almost look forward to my next scheduled visit

I have a REAL fear of going to the dentist and she along with her team especially Ann the dental nurse never fail to make my experience as calming and relaxing as possible. Fantastic experience: My partner recently suffered with an awful gum infection from an abscess on her tooth. After calling numerous dentists, Dental Care Ireland were the only surgery that would see her at short notice. Not only did she receive excellent treatment from Ciara (dentist who treated her), Amy and the staff there were friendly, supportive and professional. My partner was so happy that I changed my own dentist and had a full check up myself the following week. It's a lovely modern surgery and it made the dreaded visit to the dentist far less scary. 10/10 for all round professional service. Thoroughly recommended.

Negative experience: Attended in February 2022 for a check-up. Had a few things that needed to be done so the dentist made a treatment plan to be carried out over a number of months. First couple of appointments went well. On the morning of my 4th appointment in May, I got a call an hour before my scheduled appointment cancelling the appointment. I heard nothing after for a week so rang back to reschedule, I was told the dentist I was seeing had left, another dentist was leaving and I would have to wait a number of months for another appointment. Eventually got an appointment 5 months later in November. Turn up at 8am after booking time off work that morning to be told they “booked the wrong day”. This place is badly organised and unprofessional. I would suggest going to a different dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Orla McGeary is by far the nicest dentist I’ve ever had. I’m a really nervous patient (scared of dentists since being a child!) and she puts me at ease. She is always friendly and kind, really calming down my anxiety. She also knows when things might be a little too difficult for me and breaks appointments up to ensure I get the best possible treatment. She has helped me turn my teeth around (after not visiting a dentist in ten years) I no longer have teeth I’m ashamed of!

Fantastic experience: Excellent t service, I have even with this practice for a long time. However I have a problem with long waiting times, if I arrive late for my appointment I would be correctly be in trouble, however this dose not apply to me having a long waiting time.
