They gave me an appointment very quickly. Niamh was the most gentle dentist I’ve ever been to and Rose, her dental nurse was lovely. I would highly recommend this dental practice…. Every one has been friendly and professional and I couldn't recommend this practice enough. They have also slotted me in for a couple of emergencies over the time even though they are always busy.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Dr. Niamh O’Mahony in the Claregalway practice for a year now and I can’t recommend her highly enough! Niamh has been so kind and polite with me and has made my trips to the dentist so stress free and enjoyable. Very friendly professional dentist, as are all the staff there. Will definitely be returning in future!!

Negative experience: Avoid dr. NIAMH OMahoney . I had been to her a while back due to severe tooth ache. I showed her the tooth but was not 100 percent sure . She said its root canal treated and doesn't do retreatment and referred me to an endodontist. She never did an xray to check if its really the same tooth . After 3 weeks I visited the endodontist and my doubt was right. He did a xray and cold test and found the tooth in front of the suspected tooth was giving all the issue and I paid him 160 euro . He referred me back to her again for treatment and eventually she extracted it . The same xray and cold test could be done by her instead of referring me to him and me going through this for 4 weeks back and forth. I also forgot to mention I asked her to prescribe me some pain killers for thd pain when I waited for 3 weeks to which she charged me separately for the prescription. Really ridiculous and inefficient in her work . And also not at all empathetic towards patients.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to go to Dental Care Ireland, from the minute you step in the door you are greeted with smiles and everyone is always happy to help. My Dentist Martin McCarthy is kind and caring and a great Dentist who walks you through whatever procedure you might need, and my teeth are in great shape thanks to him. My (now grown) children also go to Dental Care Ireland and have all their lives. They all have different dentists and everyone in this practice is excellent, extremely professional, personable and always seem in good form. A sign of a good place to work and to attend.
